ITINERARY:

1ST DAY • U.S. / SAN JOSE
Arrival in San Jose International Airport where you will be met by our representatives. Transfer to the five star Costa Rica Marriott Hotel, set amidst a flourishing 30-acre coffee plantation. This majestic hotel and its 16th century colonial architecture instantly conveys gracious accommodations and the outstanding level of service offered within. Overnight Costa Rica Marriott Hotel.

2ND DAY • ARENAL VOLCANO
A morning departure from San Jose will take you on a visit to the most spectacular active volcano in Costa Rica . Lunch in a quaint restaurant set amidst a tropical rainforest breaks up the drive to the picturesque town of La Fortuna where you will get your first full view of this majestic volcano and, as the clouds lift, its awe-inspiring perfect cone. Arrival at Tabacon Hot Springs and Spa, an exclusive resort nestled at the base of mighty Arenal with a view of the Volcano towering in the background. Here, thermo-mineral springs flowing from Arenal run at a soothing 102 F through a maze of pools, waterfalls and exotic tropical gardens. On a clear day you may be rewarded with a magnificent display of fireworks as Arenal launches plumes of smoke and fire high into the darkening sky. After dinner we depart back to San Jose for overnight. Meals BLD

3RD DAY • PLAYA HERRADURA
Morning departure from San Jose heading southwest towards Costa Rica 's alluring Pacific coast. Few resorts in Costa Rica can match the Los Sueños fusion of exceptional service, impressive facilities and breathtaking architecture that make it a truly grand hotel. Check-in to your elegantly appointed guest room for overnight. Meals B

4TH – 6TH DAY • LOS SUEÑOS MARRIOTT
Three full days at your leisure or take one of the optional tours available to nearby ecological attractions (see page 5). The Marriott Los Sueños boasts a magnificent 18-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson, a 25,000 square foot outdoor ocean view pool, health club, tennis courts and jogging trail. On site Marina , casino, salon, pro shop and over 5 restaurants and 2 bars complete the setting. Meals B

7TH DAY • SAN JOSE
After breakfast, transfer back to your hotel in San Jose . Optional deluxe Tortuga Island Catamaran Cruise aboard the Manta Ray ($99). Overnight Costa Rica Marriott Hotel. Meals B

8TH DAY • RAINFOREST AERIAL TRAM
After breakfast, our half-day tour begins crossing the Continental Divide to enter Braulio Carrillo National Park . A short nature walk will bring us to the tram. The lower, outbound leg of the tram journey skims over hilltops and introduces the sub canopy, a dark world of
overburdened limbs dripping with mosses, ferns, and orchids. Lianas and vines drape branches and traverse forest spaces, and act a highway for birds and insects. The return leg of the ride reveals the most dramatic portion of the trip as the cars glide on the breath-taking journey through an above the air canopy. Transfer back to your hotel in San Jose .
